Those places are mostly gone. The infrastructure collapsed. Streaming buried independent artists under popularity algorithms. The feed replaced the dig. The moment of real discovery, the kind that changes your week, has been missing for a generation.

HOW IT WORKS

You walk in. The walls are covered with things to respond to. Moods. Textures. Eras. Tags on divider cards. You pick things up or you walk straight to the clerk and say whatever is on your mind. Both work.

The clerk's name is Reel. Reel is AI, pointed at the problem algorithms created: finding the artists they buried. Tell Reel what you feel, what you're in the mood for. Reel digs across independent creative work and comes back with recommendations and directions to where it lives. Any medium. Reel links outward. Always. When physical media is available, Reel tells you.

Reel's knowledge has real edges. When it knows, it's vivid. When it's less sure, it says so. When it hits the bottom of a crate, it tells you. It won't pad a response with well-known names or make something up.

WHAT WE DON'T DO
